Jeanine Fitzgerald is a certified Human Behavior Specialist and Owner of The Better Behavior Bureau and The Behavior Institute. She will be presenting "The Need to Heal". At the core of this course is the understanding of how trauma is imprinted on the body, mind and spirit, resulting in many symptoms that need healing. "The Need to Heal" gives insight into children's resiliency and provides their caregivers with the tools to overcome and prevent trauma.

This workshop will be a continuation of the keynote presentation, "The Need to Heal".
   
Workshops Choice 2: "Special Education & Student Discipline"
"Special Education & Student Discipline: Effective Advocacy in Behavioral & Disciplinary Matters", Presented by: Amy DiDonna Esq.

Amy Didonna sperates a private education law practice in Worcester, MA, providing representation and litigation services to clients in charter school law and student matters, including but not limited to special education, regular education and student discipline. Amy has presented numerous workshops on various topics for the SESPP at our Quarterly Training Opportunities. "Special Education & Student Discipline" will cover what an FBA and BIP are, and when they should and must be conducted and developed. This workshop will also cover the rules surrounding discipline of special education students and explains how you can prepare for a disciplinary matter.
Workshop Choice 3: "A Comprehensive Look at ADHD"
Presented by: Dr. Jack Conboy

This workshop session will provide participants with a thorough understanding of ADHD including diagnosis, co-morbidity factors, treatment strategies, behavior management interventions and technical assistance on the development of an effective IEP.
